Earthquake Cake - cooking recipe

1 c. coconut
1 German chocolate cake mix
8 oz. softened cream cheese
1 c. chopped pecans
1 stick margarine
1 lb. confectioners sugar
Preparation

Grease and flour 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
Spread coconut and pecans in pan.
Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Pour batter over coconut and pecans.
Mix margarine, cream cheese and confectioners sugar.
Drop by spoonfuls on top of batter.
