Mom'S Hot Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. hot juicy applesauce
1 c. butter or margarine
2 c. sugar
1 c. raisins
1 c. nuts
4 c. sifted flour
1 Tbsp. cocoa
1 heaping tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 level tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. hot water

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar well.
Add hot applesauce.
Add next 8 ingredients. Dissolve baking soda in hot water.
Add to cake mixture, stir quickly.
Pour into 1 greased tube or 2 loaf pans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
