Scott'S Cheese Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. cooked and drained crisp bacon or 3 oz. bacon bits
    1 lb. Cheddar cheese (I prefer a medium sharp Cheddar)
    1 Tbsp. minced onion
    2 cloves chopped garlic
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
    6 shakes Tabasco sauce
    1 tsp. Knorr-Swiss aromat seasoning (for meat)
    Pepperidge Farm rye party rounds
Preparation
    In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients listed except the party rounds. Cover the top of each round with the spread and broil in oven until the spread is hot and starts to bubble. Serve immediately.
    Makes 4 cups.
    Makes a nice gift and freezes very well.
