Beef Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 pkg. Hamburger Helper (beef noodle)
    5 c. water
    1 bay leaf (opt.)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes (undrained)
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables or 2 c. cooked vegetables
Preparation
    Brown beef and onion then drain.
    Stir in water, bay leaf, salt, pepper, undrained tomatoes and the season mix from Hamburger Helper box.
    Break tomatoes up with a fork.
    Bring to boil, stirring constantly.
    Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes stirring occasionally.
    Add in noodles and vegetables; cover and cook 10 minutes.
