Canned Squash Or Okra - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. squash or okra, sliced
    4 tsp. canning salt
    1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Place squash or okra in a large pot.
    Barely cover with water. Add canning salt and vinegar.
    Bring to a light boil. Boil gently until squash or okra changes color.
    Pack into jars.
    Pour liquid into jars over squash or okra.
    Seal.
