Scripture Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 1/2 c. flour (plain) (1 Kings 4:22)
1 c. each milk and butter (Judges 5:25)
2 c. syrup (Jeremiah 6:20)
2 Tbsp. honey (1 Samuel 14:25)
2 c. figs (Nahum 3:12)
2 c. almonds (Numbers 17:8)
2 tsp. soda (1 Corinthians 5:6)
2 tsp. salt (Leviticus 2:13)
6 eggs (Jeremiah 17:11)

Preparation

Season to taste with spices, 2 Chronicles 9:9.
Mix like a fruit cake.
Line pan with foil.
Bake in oven 1 hour or until done.
Not too sweet.
Excellent choice for Christmas holidays.
