Mrs. S' Russian Christmas Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 pt. sour cream
    4 egg yolks
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 jigger whiskey
    about 2 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix sour cream, egg yolks, sugar and salt.
    Add whiskey. Gradually add flour; dough must be smooth and elastic.
    Roll out thinly.
    Cut in strips and twist.
    Fry in deep fat.
    Drain. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
