Chili Sauce Or Salsa - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    18 to 20 tomatoes
    6 to 8 green peppers
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
    8 to 10 onions
    10 to 15 hot peppers
    2 1/2 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. cloves
Preparation
    Cook peeled tomatoes, onions and peppers until tender in a heavy skillet.
    Then add vinegar, sugar and spices and cook until mixture thickens, stirring often with wooden spoon.
    Makes 7 pints.
