Asparagus With Orange Butter Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. asparagus, tough ends removed
8 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/3 c. minced shallots
1 1/4 tsp. Dijon mustard
1 1/3 c. fresh squeezed orange juice
strips of orange peel or orange slices (garnish; optional)
Preparation

In wide frying pan, bring 1-inch water to a boil over high heat.
Add asparagus; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, until barely tender when pierced (about 3 to 5 minutes).
Drain.
Place asparagus on warming serving platter and keep warm.
