Sugared Pecans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. nuts
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Put in iron frying pan and turn heat on high. Stand and stir with a wooden spoon until water evaporates and goes back to sugar. (Take off stove at first sign of sugar formation but continue to stir until all nuts are covered.)
    Pour in shallow pan and put in oven at 300\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
