Refrigerator Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. cabbage
    2 red peppers or carrots
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 green peppers
    2 medium onions
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. vinegar
    2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Grate or chop vegetables.
    Add salt and mustard seed.
    Combine 2 cups vinegar, 2 cups water and 2 cups sugar.
    Heat to a boil. Cool and pour over vegetables.
    Let stand 24 hours.
    Put in jars and refrigerate.
    It will keep in your refrigerator for four months.
