1 c. oil
4 eggs
3 c. flour (all-purpose)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. coconut
2 tsp. coconut flavoring
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. coconut flavoring
Preparation

Mix
sugar,
water,
butter and coconut flavoring; boil until clear.
Poke holes in cake.
Pour sauce over cake.
Let stand about 4 hours, then take out of pan.
