Ingredients

1/4 lb. butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 c. sour cream
3/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream together butter and sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla; beat until light and fluffy. Sift flour, salt, baking powder and soda. Add these and sour cream to the butter and sugar mixture.
Blend thoroughly.
Stir in nuts.
Chill.
Drop by tablespoons on baking sheet.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Cool.
Frost with butter frosting.
