Smothered Dove - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 doves
    6 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. chicken broth
    1/2 c. sherry wine
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown doves in heavy skillet in melted butter.
    Remove doves to baking dish, breast down.
    Add flour to skillet and stir well. Slowly add chicken broth, sherry, salt and pepper; blend well and pour over doves.
    Cover baking dish and bake at 350\u00b0 for at least 1 hour.
    Serves 4.
