Golden Sponge Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 2/3 c. sifted cake flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    10 egg yolks (room temperature)
    1/2 c. hot water
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Sift flour once.
    Measure.
    Add baking powder and salt; sift together.
    Beat egg yolks with rotary eggbeater until thickened slightly.
    Add hot water gradually, beating until mixture is very thick and light (about 10 minutes); electric mixer 5 minutes.
    Add flavoring to egg yolks, then add sugar gradually, beating constantly.
    Fold in flour, 1/4 at a time, folding just until blended.
