Marinated Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. oil
    1 Tbsp. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 can French-style beans
    1 small can peas
    1 can white corn
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 c. celery, chopped
    3 carrots, grated
    pimento
Preparation
    Bring to a boil the sugar, vinegar, oil, water and salt.
    Cool thoroughly.
    Drain vegetables.
    Mix with dressing.
    Chill several hours.
    Just before serving, drain off most of the liquid.
