Peanut Butter Blossoms - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. peanut butter
2 eggs, well beaten
1 to 2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Hershey's Kisses

Preparation

Cream shortening; add sugar and cream again.
Add eggs, peanut butter and vanilla.
Sift flour with soda and salt.
Add to creamed mixture gradually and blend well.
Form into balls; roll in granulated sugar.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Remove from oven and place candy Kisses on top; bake for 2 to 5 minutes.
