Choco-Dot Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    2/3 c. butter
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
    2 c. M&M's (plain)
    3/4 c. Crisco shortening
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix sugars, shortening, butter, vanilla and eggs in large bowl.
    Stir in flour, baking soda and salt. Stir in M&M's and nuts.
    Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls, about 2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets.
    Press 3 to 4 extra candies in cookies, if desired.
    Bake until light brown for 9 to 11 minutes.
    Cool slightly; remove from sheets.
