Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
sugar for sprinkles
Preparation

Mix butter, confectioners sugar, egg, vanilla and almond extract.
Blend in flour, soda and cream of tartar.
Cover and chill 2 to 3 hours.
Divide dough in half.
Roll out 3/16 inch thick on floured board.
Bake on greased cookie sheet at 375\u00b0 for 7 to 8 minutes or until light brown.
