Date Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dates
    1 pt milk (2 c.)
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    dash of salt
    2 egg yolks
    1 cooked pie shell
    2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    In a double boiler cook dates and milk until thick.
    Add sugar, flour, salt and yolks.
    Cook all together until thick.
    Place in baked pie crust.
    Can use whites of eggs for a meringue or put whipped cream on top.
