Microwave Herb-Buttered Corn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 or 5 fresh ears of corn, husked
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. finely chopped chives
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Place corn in a 13 x 9-inch glass baking dish; leave space between ears.
Add the water to the dish.
Microwave, covered, with plastic wrap, at High power until tender, 8 to 15 minutes. Turn ears and rearrange every 4 minutes.
Let stand, covered, 5 minutes.
Combine butter, chives, salt and pepper in small bowl. Microwave, uncovered, at High power until butter melts, 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 minutes; stir once during cooking.
Pour over corn.
