Pork Chops With Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 pork chops
    2 c. onions, sliced thin
    2 c. cold water
    1 1/3 c. instant rice
    1/8 tsp. marjoram
    2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Trim excess fat from chops.
    Place chops in skillet with about 1 tablespoon cooking oil.
    Brown on both sides for about 5 minutes.
    Remove chops from skillet and stir in onions for about 5 minutes.
    Add water, rice, marjoram, salt and pepper.
    Mix well. Return chops to skillet and cover.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat to low and cook for 18 to 20 minutes or until tender.
