Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. flour (level)
1/3 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
2 egg yolks, beaten well
1 lemon (juice and a little rind)
2 egg whites, beaten stiff
Preparation

Mix flour, sugar and salt together.
Add well-beaten egg yolks.
Add lemon and milk; mix well.
Fold in beaten egg whites. Set dish in pan of warm water.
Bake like custard for about 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
This recipe forms a little light cake on top and a smooth delicious sauce underneath.
Serve cold with whipped cream or just plain.
