Mrs. Van'S Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1 c. white Karo syrup
1/2 c. water
2 egg whites
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix sugar, syrup and water.
Cook on medium heat to hard ball stage (260\u00b0).
Pour in a fine stream onto 2 beaten egg whites. Beat until it loses its gloss.
Add nuts and vanilla.
Spoon onto waxed paper.
Makes about 50 pieces.
