Hot Fudge Sundae Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/4 c. cocoa
    1 3/4 c. hottest tap water
    favorite ice cream
Preparation
    Heat over to 350 degrees.
    Stir together flour, granulated sugar, 2 Tbsp. cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
    Mix well.
    Add milk, oil and vanilla with a fork until smooth.
    Stir in nuts. Spread evenly in a 9 X 9 inch ungreased pan.
    Sprinkle with brown sugar and 1/4 c. cocoa.
    Pour hot water over batter.
    Bake 40 minutes.
    Let stand 15 minutes.
    Cut into squares.
    There will be a thick chocolate sauce underneath the cake when you take it out. Top each square with ice cream and spoon sauce over it.
