Banana Split Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 pkg. red gelatin
    2 c. cold water
    1 pt. vanilla ice cream, softened
    thawed Cool Whip
    sliced bananas and strawberries
    pineapple chunks
    chopped nuts
Preparation
    Stir boiling water and gelatin in large bowl for 2 minutes. Stir in cool water.
    Stir in ice cream until almost smooth. Pour into serving bowl.
    Refrigerate for 3 hours or until firm. Garnish with Cool Whip, fruit and nuts.
