Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium potatoes
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    12 oz. American cheese
    1/2 lb. bacon, fried not too crispy and broken into pieces
Preparation
    Cut potatoes into cubes and parboil just enough so a knife can go through.
    Combine potatoes, mayo and onions; cut cheese into strips and add to potato mixture.
    Put in 9 x 11-inch baking dish and cover with bacon.
    Bake 1 hour uncovered at 325\u00b0.
