Pecan Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    14 Ritz crackers, crushed
    2/3 c. pecans (may use walnuts)
    1/2 pt. whipped cream
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Slowly beat in baking powder, vanilla and sugar.
    By hand, fold in crackers and nuts.
    Turn mixture into a 9-inch greased pie pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
