Mom'S Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. blackberry jam
    2 c. unsifted flour
    5 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. soda, dissolved in a little hot water
Preparation
    This cake is meant to fall in the center.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
