Chili-Sausage Supper - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bulk pork sausage
    1 c. onion, finely chopped
    1 c. green pepper, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. wide egg noodles
    1 (16 oz.) can diced tomatoes
    3/4 c. water
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1 to 2 tsp. chili powder
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    In a large skillet or an electric skillet, cook and stir meat, onion and green pepper until meat is brown and onion is tender. Drain off fat.
    Stir in remaining ingredients, except sour cream. Cover.
    Simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until noodles are tender, adding more water, if necessary, to prevent sticking.
    Add sour cream the last 5 minutes just to heat through.
