Never Fail Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    4 large eggs
    2 1/2 c. cake flour
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening for 10 minutes.
    Beat in one egg at a time.
    Add mixed flour and milk alternately.
    Stir in vanilla. Pour into tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
