Hurry Up Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can fruit pie filling (1 lb. 4 oz. or 1 lb. 6 oz.)
    1 stick butter or margarine, cut into 24 pieces
    9 oz. yellow or white cake mix
    1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    Use a 9 x 9 x 1-inch square pan.
    Pour pie filling and spread on bottom. Sprinkle cake mix (raw) over the fruit.
    Cover completely. Cover with nuts.
    Place butter pieces on top. Do not mix, leave it layered. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60
    minutes. Best served warm. Top with Cool Whip or ice cream.
