Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. Crisco oil
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 oz. red food coloring
    2 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. soda
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Cream sugar and oil.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Add food color, which has vinegar mixed in it.
    Beat well.
    Sift dry ingredients. Add alternately with milk.
    Add vanilla and beat well.
    Pour into greased and floured cake pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0, about 30 minutes.
