Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/4 lb. butter or margarine
    1 can sliced pineapple, drained (save juice)
    maraschino cherries
    1 c. sugar
    3 egg yolks
    8 tsp. pineapple juice
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3 egg whites
Preparation
    Place brown sugar and butter or margarine in a large iron skillet.
    Cook over low heat until it caramelizes.
    Remove from heat.
    Lay on sliced pineapple with a maraschino cherry in center of each slice.
