Classic Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 frozen deep-dish pie crust
    3 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. light or dark corn syrup
    2 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 1/2 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    In medium bowl, beat eggs slightly.
    Add sugar, corn syrup, butter and vanilla; stir until blended.
    Stir in pecans.
    Pour into frozen pie crust.
    Bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven on a preheated baking sheet, 50 to 55 minutes, or until knife inserted halfway between center and edges comes out clean.
    Cool on rack. Serves 8.
