Elephant Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium size elephant
    salt
    pepper
    5 to 6 bushels cloves
    150 gal. water
    2 rabbits (optional)
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Cut elephant into bite size pieces.
    Wash cloves.
    Bring water to a boil.
    Add chunks and cloves to water.
    Let boil for 24 hours.
    Turn heat down and simmer for an additional 72 hours. Salt and pepper to taste.
    This will serve approximately 1,800 people.
    If more guests are expected, the rabbits may be added. Do this only if necessary. . . .
    most people do not like \"hare\" in their soup.
