Marinated Carrot Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. carrots
    1 can tomato soup (undiluted)
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 c. oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 large onion (ring slices)
Preparation
    Cook slightly the carrots.
    Do not cover.
    Cook and marinate in the remaining ingredients.
    Marinate overnight.
    (The dressing that is leftover after the carrots are used is good on lettuce salad.)
