The Best Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. chopped onion
1 Tbsp. butter
3 c. large egg noodles
2 3/4 c. chicken broth
1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sherry
1/2 tsp. Accent
1 c. sour cream
2 c. cooked, diced chicken
1/4 c. slivered almonds, toasted in the oven
3 Tbsp. fresh parsley
Preparation

Cook onion in butter until tender (not brown).
Add noodles, broth, lemon peel, Accent and salt and bring to a boil.
Cover and cook over low heat until noodles are done.
Stir in sherry, sour cream and chicken and heat through.
Sprinkle with almonds and parsley.
Serve immediately.
