Danish Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. tart applesauce
    3/4 c. butter or margarine
    cinnamon
    2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
Preparation
    Saute bread crumbs until evenly browned in the butter.
    Line bottom of deep 9-inch pie pan with browned bread crumbs.
    Spread 1/3 of sauce over the crumbs.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon.
    Add 2 more layers alternating bread crumbs, applesauce and cinnamon.
    End with cinnamon sprinkled crumbs on top.
    Bake 30 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    Serve hot or cold with whipped cream garnished with bits of jelly. Yields 10 servings.
