Ingredients

1 c. coconut
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
2 c. flour
2 c. Rice Krispies
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream both sugars and shortening together.
Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
Mix flour, soda, baking powder and salt.
Add and mix until smooth.
Add remaining ingredients, one at a time, mixing after each addition.
Drop by spoonful on greased baking sheet at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
