Heavenly Peach - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sliced fresh peaches
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 round angel food cake
    12 oz. Cool Whip
    1 (3 3/4 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen coconut, thawed
Preparation
    Pour sugar over peaches and let sit for 1 hour.
    In a 9 x 13-inch pan, crumble cake; add sweetened fruit and sprinkle half the coconut over this.
    Mix pudding according to directions; add Cool Whip.
    Pour over peaches and coconut.
    Shake pan for pudding to sink through fruit.
    Sprinkle rest of coconut over this. Refrigerate overnight or at least 6 hours.
    Serves 12 to 15.
