Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 stick margarine
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. peanut butter
2 1/2 c. quick cooking oatmeal
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Boil sugar, milk, margarine and cocoa for 3 minutes; start timing after the mixture reaches a full, rolling boil.
Remove from heat; add peanut butter, oatmeal, vanilla and nuts.
Mix until well blended, then drop on wax paper by the teaspoonful. Allow to cool thoroughly.
