Chow Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 onions, chopped
    4 green peppers, chopped
    1 qt. vinegar
    4 heads of cabbage, chopped
    12 lb. green tomatoes, chopped
    3 Tbsp. salt
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    8 large cucumbers, chopped
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. allspice
    3 Tbsp. dry mustard
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
Preparation
    Mix all chopped vegetables. Mix with salt and sugar; let sit overnight. Add the final four ingredients. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes. Place in sterilized jars and seal. Place in boiling water for 5 minutes.
