Potato Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 to 7 c. flour
2 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. lukewarm water
1 c. warm, mashed potatoes
2/3 c. shortening and butter, mixed
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. lukewarm water
2 eggs, beaten
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup lukewarm water and set aside. Combine potatoes, sugar, salt and 1 cup lukewarm water in bowl. Add yeast mixture, eggs and shortening-butter mixture.
Stir in flour gradually.
Mix well.
Place in a greased bowl and let rise until double its size.
Punch down and form rolls.
Let the rolls rise until double in size.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes 6 dozen.
