Baked Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large eggs
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    nutmeg to flavor
    vanilla (if desired)
Preparation
    Beat eggs, sugar and salt lightly to mix.
    Scald milk, nutmeg and vanilla and pour into egg mixture.
    Strain into 6 custard cups and set into pan of hot water (1 inch up on cups).
    Sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
    Serve cool or chilled.
