Peanut Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice (white or brown)
    2 1/2 c. water, boiling
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. peanut oil
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1 c. peanuts (whole), roasted
    1 c. sweet green peas, cooked slightly
    1 Tbsp. parsley, minced
    3 Tbsp. peanut oil or other vegetable oil
    3 cloves (whole)
    2 peppercorns
    1 (1-inch) piece cinnamon
Preparation
    Add salt, 1 tablespoon peanut oil, cloves, peppercorns, cinnamon
    and
    rice
    to boiling water.
    Cook on low heat until tender.
    Remove spices.
