Refrigerator Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1 c. bran flakes
    1 c. boiling water
    2 c. buttermilk
    2 c. All-Bran or Bran Buds
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream together the sugar, shortening and eggs.
    Mix together the bran flakes and boiling water. Let cool in buttermilk.
    Mix together.
    Add All-Bran, flour, baking soda and salt.
    Bake in muffin tins at 375\u00b0.
    Batter will keep in refrigerator.
    Use as needed.
