Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese
    1/4 c. butter
    4 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    5 medium potatoes
    2 small yellow onions, chopped
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In 2-quart saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
    Blend in flour.
    Add milk, stirring constantly, until thick.
    Add cheese, salt and pepper.
    Continue to cook until cheese melts.
    Spread 1/2 cheese mixture on bottom of 2 1/2-quart baking dish.
    Arrange potatoes and onions over cheese mixture. Top with remainder of cheese mixture.
    Bake for 1 hour.
