English Muffin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 1/2 to 6 c. flour
    2 pkg. active yeast
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. water
    cornmeal
Preparation
    Combine 3 cups flour, yeast, sugar, salt and soda.
    Heat liquids until very warm (120\u00b0 to 130\u00b0).
    Add liquid to dry ingredients.
    Stir in remaining flour until dough is stiff. Spoon into two 8 1/2 x 4 1/2-inch loaf pans that have been greased and sprinkled with cornmeal.
    Cover with a cloth and let rise 45 minutes.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Remove from pans immediately.
