Layered Pea Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 head lettuce, shredded
    1/2 red onion, quartered and thinly sliced
    4 or 5 radishes, sliced
    1/4 head broccoli, broken or cut into small heads
    1 to 1 1/2 c. shredded cheese
    1 stalk celery, thinly sliced
    1/2 green pepper, quartered and thinly sliced
    1 c. sliced cauliflower
    1 can green peas
    1 to 1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
Preparation
    Layer raw vegetables, beginning with lettuce, in a deep glass bowl.
    Drain peas and pour over top of vegetables.
    Cover peas with mayonnaise.
    Sprinkle cheese over all.
    Seal with plastic wrap. Refrigerate overnight.
